1969年，为了成为一流的小提琴演奏家，就读高中的佐野雅志（菅田将晖 饰）离开长崎老家，只身前往东京发展。然而他的梦想遥遥无期，令雅志不禁怀疑自己是不是根本没有这方面的才能。在学校里，他被分到传说中专门流放问题学生的二年10班。樫山满（间宫祥太朗 饰）边弹吉他边唱猫王的歌向特立独行的女孩洋子（森川葵 饰）求爱，似乎揭开了别样欢乐的青春的帷幕。不久之后，母亲的来信也让雅志重新振作起来。以文化祭为契机，他和古田政美（本乡奏多 饰）、菊田保夫（泉泽佑希 饰）、樫山满等人组成了乐队，他们似乎找到了快乐的源泉和前进的方向…… 本片根据歌手佐野雅志的自传改编。Masashi (Masaki Suda) went to Tokyo alone in his junior high days as the violin prodigy. He is now in the 2nd grade of high school. He spends his days practising the violin, dreaming of becoming a great violinist one day. However, he begins to doubt his dream when he realizes that he may not be as talented as he has thought. Meanwhile, Masashi cannot focus on the violin, as his classmates invited him to start a band, join the Rakugo clubs, or even invited him to take part in Student Activism.He is not sure what he really wants to in his future.
